Slave Auction for SFC & Youth Department

On April 25, after the Sunday evening service, the young men and women of the youth department (and the team leaders) were auctioned off to the highest bidder. We had a great time and raised over $3000!! The proceeds are to be split evenly between SFC and the youth department.

As you can see, the young people got in the mood.

Let's not forget to do the work and to do it well!

Section 4 Youth Rally @ Linton, IN

A few weeks back in May [the 18th], we took a group to Linton, IN for a Section 4 Youth Rally. We had a great time and an interesting view...notice our precarious position up in the cheap seats. Bro. Jeremy Moore from Evansville, IN preached with passion and anointing about the reality of the resurrection. He's right-rarely do we stop and worship in awe of the fact that Jesus Christ died and rose again. Afterwards we had a good time with the folks from Harrodsburg and Worthington hanging out at Nathan & Sara Williamson's place. Thanks to them!

Ice Cream Social

On June 3rd, after the Sunday PM service we had an all-around good time at our Ice Cream social. The young people worked hard (and we have video to prove it) and we're glad about that. And lots of folks bought ice cream and coney dogs, and we're really glad about that. Thanks to the saints of Highland Village for their support!

After the fun, we cleaned up, and had a little fun doing that too. In this next video, Jordan falls into a little trap laid by the girls.

And here's the video to prove that the youth did indeed work, at least when they were not singing to their mops:
